Sales Consultant Trauma

Bristol - Bath - Cheltenham

Basic salary £28,000 - £34,000 + Commission

Our Client is a leading global medical device company. They develop, produce and market instruments, implants and biomaterials and they are looking for a Sales Consultant to join their established trauma team.

This is essentially a technical sales role and can be quite challenging. They require a person who has the ability to work at a very technical level and apply to remain in operations for several hours of the day. The territory covered is based upon Bristol - Bath - Cheltenham.

You must have;

• Good organisation and planning
• Good relationship record (colleagues and customers alike)
• Good cost controls
• Business, selling and technical skills (training given)

The ideal candidate will have proven MEDICAL SALES experience selling to Consultants and Senior NHS Hospital Managers. It is essential that candidates have the ability to demonstrate technical skills to teach potential users (Orthopaedic Surgeons, their juniors, and theatre personnel). Experience in orthopaedic products is desirable but not essential.

Candidates should also be

• Well presented, have a stable career history
• Have a full clean driving licence (or no more than 6 pts)
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Numerate
• Hard working (occasional weekend and evening is necessary
