Job Description

TEAM EXPANSION - COMMERCIAL / PHARMACY BUSINESS MANAGER / DISPENSING ACCOUNT MANAGER, PRESCRIPTION  PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTS

We are currently recruiting for several experienced Commercial Business Managers nationwide to sell a market leading range of prescription only brands.

Our client is a world renowned, blue chip, market leading healthcare & pharmaceutical company which is in the process of expanding their commercial team as a result of their continued success.  We are therefore looking for suitable candidates in the following geographical areas:

SR 2358           South West SHA

SR 2359           South Central SHA

SR 2363           East of England & South Coast SHA

SR 2364           London

Working autonomously at primary care level (whilst being a pivotal part of an established team) you will be solely accountable for calling on retail pharmacies and dispensing practices to sell the benefits of commercial contracting with the company, negotiating deals and managing the trading relationship between the customer and organisation in question.

You will be able to demonstrate a track record of creating business opportunities that have culminated in progressive sales performance, and you will also be able to work well independently and have the desire to take true sales accountability.  You will be ambitious, professional and possess strong communication and commercial skills and have the drive to deliver tangible outcomes.

You will be confident and articulate with exemplary negotiation skills, and will drive through sales by prioritising the time and budget you spend in the areas where you will see the best return on your investments. 

Please note that on this occasion all applicants MUST be able to fulfill the following criteria:

  • Live within the geographical area in question
  • Have strong key account management skills and experience, with evidence to support your successes
  • Up to date knowledge of the current & changing NHS structure
  • Extensive current (or recent previous) experience of selling to either dispensing practices or pharmacies essential
  • ABPI qualification not essential
  • Possess a full UK driving license with 6 points or fewer (and no previous bans)
  • Be eligible to work in the UK on a full time, permanent basis (no working holiday or student visas)

In return, you will be rewarded with a generous basic salary up to £40,000 (dependent on experience), plus tax free daily allowance, fully expensed company car, laptop & mobile telephone, pension, private healthcare &  performance related bonus.  The successful candidates will be invited to commence employment on the ITC which is due to commence on 13th September 2010.
