Role
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling a comprehensive range of orthopaedic implants (hip and knee, extremities, orthobiotics and powertools) to surgeons and clinical staff in the south west of the UK. Selling directly in theatre the role will be a mixture of new business and account management with a focus on increasing revenue from existing clients that have additional sales opportunities. As with many orthopaedic sales / medical sales roles a key element to success is the ability to build long terms relationship with key opinion leading orthopaedic surgeons and well as negotiate the NHS procurement procedure.
Applicant
· Proven track record selling to surgeons in the NHS
· Experience in theatre ideally orthopaedics
· Proven experience working with NHS procurement / supplies
· A genuine desire to earn money
· Prepared to go the extra mile hardworking, professional, excellent negotiation skills
· Clinical exposure / clinical skills
