In this role you will promote AstraZeneca brands to healthcare professionals across a number of Local Healthcare Economy accounts, always representing AstraZeneca's high ethical standards. You will work as part of a team of representatives, responsible for selling to prescribers (or prescribing influencers) in GP practices, hospitals and retail pharmacy, as defined by your Area Manager. You will need to develop strong customer relationships built on your understanding of their needs and your ability to establish your credibility by satisfying those needs. You will need to employ a range of promotional tactics to successfully develop prescribing among the customers you work with. You will need to contribute positively to the sales team and broader account team you work within, to build strong business plans and deliver effectively against them.
PLEASE NOTE: The Vitex Med Rep vacancy is a key role focused on working with Nurses within the defined geographic territory. It operates with the Medical Reps across the GP environment, & with the Integrated Healthcare Specialists at the Hospital & PCT level.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
You must have previous sales experience and be able to demonstrate a track record of success. You should be of graduate-calibre, able to develop and maintain high levels of therapeutic and NHS knowledge. You will be competitive and highly self-motivated, as well as possess strong communication skills and a keen team work ethic. Ideally you will be ABPI qualified, but sales experience in other industries will also be considered. You should live on territory, have a full driving licence, and be eligible for employment in the UK.
PLEASE NOTE: The ideal candidate for the role of Med Rep (Vitex) is currently or has previously been a nurse (RGN can have previously expired).
