Regional Sales Manager - Medical Equipment
Southern England
Basic £30,000 to £39,000 plus commission etc

Our client is the leading European company, with a strong Pan-European network including sales and supply companies in thirteen countries across Europe, China and the USA.
Our client operates in all four business areas. The largest UK business area is Medical. The product range consists of combination cylinder/regulator valves, regulator range, hospital ward equipment, homecare equipment, emergency equipment, central gas supply and aviation.

The Role

• An opportunity exists for a UK Regional Sales Manager to cover a territory that expands south from Birmingham to Cornwall, including South Wales and the South East. Ideally, the candidate would be located mid-way in the territory; most importantly you will cover the territory extensively to gain maximum sales. The primary responsibility of the role is to manage all customers in the region and be responsible for the business generated.

The territory is Southern England to include Birmingham, Bedfordshire, Herts, Essex, London, Berks, Bucks, Oxfordshire,Surrey, Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, Avon, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, and South Wales

The customer base will include:

• Distributors
• Key Accounts
• Direct end users; Hospital, Ambulance, Fire Service, Pact's

Whilst the role will include maintenance of existing accounts, new account generation is required. The product range would consist of both Medical brands.
 
The Person

• The person should be self-driven with a desire to succeed.
• This role requires a great deal of effort and strategic thinking, so the candidate should be able to capitalize on any given opportunity as well as capable of generating opportunities for the product range.

We would consider:

1. A sales professional from either pre-Hospital, Hospital, or community markets (selling medical equipment) with a proven history of sales success.
2. A sales professional from a similar industry with a proven history of sales success.
3. A medical sales person who has successfully managed distributors in the UK

Package would include a good basic salary ranging from £30,000 to £39,000+ OTE, pension, fully funded company car, 25 days holiday, home broadband, Blackberry mobile and laptop.
