Job Description

The Sales Representative is required to sell Sensitech's offering of in-transit solutions to the Life Science industry, focusing on the South UK territory.

The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing vertical sales opportunities in existing accounts as we as securing new business from a client base in the Life Science industry, including the following sectors: pharmaceutical/biotechnology, manufacturing and distribution, and clinical trials companies. You will be required to develop strategic plans for large multi-national accounts and implement them to achieve and exceed the sales goals of the South UK territory. You will also need to provide a rolling monthly sales forecast, and utilise the marketing resources of the company to develop programmes which can assist in creating sales tools and techniques in order to optimize the sales cycle. You will be tasked to assist management with defining future needs of the company, and will need to participate in relevant trade events and congresses.

The successful candidate will:

• have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or another related discipline.
• have relevant sales experience within the Life Sciences market - either product or service related.
• be able to demonstrate the ability to work with complex, multi-divisional customer account structures.
• have excellent communication skills across all levels of an organisation.
• have strong skills and knowledge of MS Office applications.
• be a confident and target-orientated individual.
• have good organisation and time management skills.
• be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 60%) as well as to the Sensitech EMEA office in Amsterdam.
