This is a Sales Representative position, selling Sensitech's transit solutions to the UK Food Retail sector.
This role is concerned with selling the Sensitech solution to the Food and Retail industries across the UK, providing customised in-transit information management solutions for environmentally sensitive products. The role is focused on account management as well as new business acquisition from major UK retailers as well as food manufacturers. Strategic planning will be central to the success of the role and you will work closely with your line manager to plan and implement the strategy for large multi-national accounts to meet and exceed the sales goals as well as take part in the development of rolling forecasting and sales programmes. The role is largely field based and will require extensive travel to act as an effective conduit between your customers and your business.
The ideal candidate will be of degree calibre, ideally with a degree in business or food sciences or related discipline and be currently working in the food and/or retail markets selling consumable products with a thorough understanding of the retail channel. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a complex, solution based product in a multi-divisional account structure with multi stake holders with a high value-add product. Naturally you will be an engaging communicator with excellent negotiation, time management and account planning skills and a demonstrable track record of business development and client development. An ability and willingness to travel throughout the UK is essential as well as occasional travel to the EMEA office in Amsterdam.
