********** NURSE MANAGER REQUIRED, NEWLY CREATED POSITION **********
As a result of their continued success we are currently recruiting for a Nurse Manager to join our client's flagship team in the Southern region (vacancy reference SR 1834).
In this role you will be responsible for managing a regional team of 6 Specialist Support Nurses across the South of England (encompassing London, Essex, Kent, the Home Counties, South Central & South West area). This is an established team who visit both adult & paediatric patients in their homes following hospital discharge to provide support as & when required within 2 chronic (non terminal) disease areas involving treatment by way of injectable device.
You will be responsible for monitoring their activity, results & accompanying them on supervisory visits to ensure they are performing to the best of their ability and providing the required levels of service to patients & their families. As the current team have varying levels of experience you will also be involved with coaching, mentoring & helping each individual to reach their potential.
As this role carries a great deal of responsibility, it is absolutely essential that you have a strong background of man management experience within the pharmaceutical / medical industry, ideally 18 months + (this could potentially mean having managed Nurses or Sales Representatives).
