Job Title: New Business Development Manager - London
Department: Field Sales

Purpose of the Job:
§ To achieve the New Business targets, as set out for the designated territory.
§ To keep abreast of developments, trends and supply market information on a regular basis.
§ At all times to promote the company and its products in a professional manner.

Main Duties/Responsibilities and Knowledge/Skills Requirements

· Targeting relevant companies within sector – including new customers, lapsed customers, new builds / re-furbs.
· Provide product demonstrations as directed by line manager
· Attend seminars and conferences in the promotion of our client
· Daily and weekly reports on activity undertaken
· Management of diary
· Provide feedback to marketing & sales managers in the identification of new products and competitor activity
· Coordinate with the Marketing department in the promotion of special offers
· Gain appointments through telemarketing activity
· Produce quotations and administer tenders as required

Person Specification

§ Thorough and detailed knowledge of sales techniques and territory planning
§ Excellent oral and written communication skills
§ Excellent organisation and time management skills to efficiently manage your territory
§ Proven field based experience in a competitive environment for a professional company
§ Demonstrate a strong team ethic to engage effectively at all levels
§ Good IT Skills to include microsoft desktop packages
§ Knowledge of primary care trusts and the health service would be an advantage
