**** EXPERIENCED PHARMACEUTICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE REQUIRED FOR NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH ****
We are currently recruiting for an experienced pharmaceutical sales representative to sell a market leading prescription only medication and a soon to be launched product across both primary and secondary care settings.
Our client is an independent, top 20 global, research driven pharmaceutical company which provides innovative medications to patients within the prescription only, consumer and animal health arenas. With blockbuster' drugs within the CNS, cardiovascular and respiratory markets they aim to improve the quality of life of people in the UK and internationally.
In anticipation of a new product launch later this year they currently have vacancies in the following geographical areas:
In this interesting role you will have responsibility for promoting an existing successful respiratory medication to a range of healthcare professionals including GPs, practice Nurses, retail pharmacists, and hospital doctors within relevant departments; one the new product is launched later in the year (to be sold in D1 position) you will still deal with customers within both primary and secondary care however the emphasis on your workload will be at hospital level.
Due to the nature of the role and customer groups in question, on this occasion our client is committed to recruiting someone who is already employed as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative on part of the territory in question. Unfortunately trainees will not be considered.
You will be an articulate, professionally presented individual educated to degree (or equivalent) level with a proven track record of success within the pharmaceutical industry and a brag file' of evidence to support your achievements. You must have previous experience of working across at least part of the territory in question including good relationships with customers at primary care level; regardless of whether you have sold at Hospital level before it is essential that you understand the Hospital formulary process and how to work within the new NHS.
In return, you will be rewarded with a generous basic salary (dependent on experience), plus tax free daily allowance, fully expensed company car, laptop & mobile telephone, pension, private healthcare & bonus along with a host of other benefits customizable to suit you. As with all field based sales roles of this type, a full UK driving license is require (with 6 points or fewer and no previous bans) and all candidates must be eligible to work in the UK on a full time, permanent basis - no working holiday or student visas, sorry.
