Business Development Manager £44k £6k Car allowance, £6k bonus
The Business Development Manager is the commercial face of my client in the Pharmaceutical market place. Your day-to-day purpose will be to identify, develop and close business opportunities with Pharmaceutical clients. I am looking for a proven business development professional, which is passionate about exceeding client expectations, and has an understanding of the business needs of our Pharmaceutical customers in the Sales, Marketing and Business information divisions. The successful candidate will be a team player, committed to working with colleagues to achieving the best outcome for the client and the business.
The main roles will involve Identifying, developing and closing business opportunities, Account managing your allocated clients, Meeting sales targets for new business, meeting profitability targets and managing your time, expenditure and client development plan, ensuring your allocated clients are 100% satisfied with our service 100% of the time, liaising effectively with internal delivery teams, Networking effectively with partners to make sure we're always 'on the ball', Contributing to the product development and planning processes to meet client demand and satisfy market opportunity.
For over 15 years my client has been one of the UK's leading providers of healthcare information. Today, its extensive portfolio includes healthcare databases, mailing lists, directories, maps, NHS learning programmes and an all-encompassing mailing & fulfilment and e-communications service. Most recently my client have taken on Healthcare Equipment & Supplies and Building Better Healthcare (formerly Hospital Development), branching out into conferences, awards, e-zines and community websites. Their Pharmaceutical Business Unit has developed significantly in recent years and now provides the pharmaceutical industry with a dedicated portfolio of market access, market intelligence and sales force effectiveness solutions.
