Are you a graduate desperately seeking your first role in the pharmaceutical sales industry but becoming disillusioned by the number of opportunities available for real entry level candidates?  Or perhaps an experienced pharmaceutical sales rep looking for a more secure position after a period of considerable instability across the industry?  If so, my client, a highly regarded international pharmaceutical company could be looking for YOU.

 

In anticipation of their next intake we are currently looking for applicants in the following geographical areas:

 

SR 1471           Derbyshire & Staffordshire

SR 1472           West Bromwich, Dudley & Worcestershire

SR 1473           Walsall, Wolverhampton & Shropshire

SR 1475           North & East London

SR 1476           Harrow & Hertfordshire

SR 1477           Norfolk

SR 1478           Cambridge & Suffolk

SR 1481           Berkshire (Reading, Bracknell, Slough)

SR 1482           Dorset & Isle of Wight

 

Working as a field based medical sales representative selling a portfolio of prescription only products within primary care in key therapy areas, you will be part of an organisation which takes great pride in the initial and ongoing training & development of its staff, and offers fantastic career opportunities and earnings potential to successful applicants.

 

They are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria, regardless of previous industry experience:

 

·        Degree level education, preferably in a life science subject (i.e. biology, microbiology, genetics, sports science or any subject which contains a significant proportion of biology based modules); or any other degree plus A Level Biology or Chemistry (grade C or above).  Whatever the case, your degree classification MUST be at grade 2ii or above.  An MSc or PhD would also be a great asset but is not essential.

·        Full UK driving license (with 6 points or less) held for a minimum of 18 months

 

Experienced candidates will ideally have current on territory knowledge and a proven track record of sales success, in addition to possessing a stable employment history.

 

Trainees will be rounded people who have been involved in extra curricular activities other than just their studies & part time jobs (things like Duke of Edinburgh Award, positions of responsibility at University, played on sports teams for school/university or town/county etc) with a confident yet approachable personality.  You should have a good understanding of what being a pharmaceutical sales representative entails & will preferably have completed a day of work shadowing.
