***** UNUSUAL & EXCITING KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER VACANCY, CAMBRIDGESHIRE *****

Are you an experienced Medical or Healthcare Sales Representative who enjoys having the autonomy and independence offered by a field based role, but who after a couple of years in the job is now looking for something a bit different?

Our client is a well known market leading manufacturer & seller of scientific equipment; in anticipation of the changes to NHS pathology services later this year they have set up a first to market pilot project (a permanent post) where they will partner with a key local hospital and provide sales & marketing support in order to enable them to grow their business by competing for work outside of their traditional geographical catchment area. 

Focussing on the Cambridgeshire area you will effectively be marketing an NHS service in association with Addenbrookes Hospital's pathology department, by calling on GPs, PCTs & PBCs as a means of improving the service they receive such as number of pick ups during the day, improved reports & turn around time for blood samples (vacancy reference SR 1553).

Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates wishing to apply MUST already have a proven track record of success as a medical or healthcare sales representative, preferably within the same geographical area however on this occasion applicants should live within approximately a 60 mile radius of Cambridge.

In terms of personality you should be outgoing, friendly and a consummate professional committed to providing outstanding customer service, being very self motivated and self managing day to day.  You will work alongside 2 territory colleagues also involved with the same project so team work & collaboration is vital, although you will have your own target list of customers.  You also need to have a full UK driving license with 6 points or less, and must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.

The package you will offered will comprise generous basic salary (adjusted to take the level of experience you bring in to account), company car, pension, private healthcare, daily allowance, laptop, mobile telephone and bonus.
