Hospital Sales Executive

East/South East

£30-35,000 + bonus + share options + plus car etc

The Company

Our client is a leading company in the development and manufacture of products for the global woundcare market. Founded 20 years ago and now a quoted plc, it is focused on the design, development and manufacture of innovative and technologically advanced woundcare products.

The Company has the capability to move a product from design and development through to production and delivery ready for distribution and sale into customer markets

They now require an NHS Sales Executive to cover the Eastern part of the South East Region. The position reports to the Regional Sales Manager (South).

The Role

Your responsibilities will include managing and developing the territory as a member of the Regional Sales team to meet sales budgets and targets. To sell the full range of wound care and wound closure products to all levels of NHS staff and proactively manage commercial and clinical issues. To define account strategy working closely with the Clinical Support Nurse team.

The job holder will report to the Regional Sales Manager - South and will be home office based. The area covered includes Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Kent and Sussex.  

  

The Requirements

The ideal person will have a degree or equivalent in a medical/science related field and previous relevant commercial/clinical sales experience within a similar industry.

A good understanding of Medical Devices and current experience and knowledge of NHS buying procedures would be advantageous. Candidates without wound care experience will be considered, however they should have the ability to discuss basic clinical issues relevant to the product.

You must have strong interpersonal, IT and analytical skills and have the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills are a given.

The Package

A basic salary of up to £35k plus 15% bonus potential, company share option scheme, car (Audi) or car allowance, pension, 25 days holidays etc.
