**** EXCITING NURSE ADVISOR VACANCIES - DIABETES ****

My client currently has several exciting opportunities available for Nurse Advisors to join their innovative team in the following areas:

SR 2386            South West England (Devon & Somerset)

SR 2387            Northumbria (Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, Sunderland, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, County Durham, Northumberland)

SR 2388            Borders & Lothian

Working within the primary care setting your role will be completely non promotional and focuses on improving patient care and management within the diabetes arena, providing education and clinical support for Nurses and GP's plus facilitating nurse-led clinics, which involve conducting patient assessments, consultation and lifestyle education. 

As you will be caring for patients with diabetes, it is imperative that you have prior experience of initiating insulin treatment and possess a specialist diabetes qualification. 

Full training will be given to ensure that you have all of the skills required to work effectively in this role if you have not worked as a Nurse Advisor previously.  You will have strong interpersonal skills, a desire to continue learning and developing new clinical skills, be IT literate and preferably used to conducting presentations.  It is also vital that you are 100% committed to delivering the highest quality standards of patient care.

This full time role is the ideal way for an RGN qualified Nurse who is looking for a more commercially facing role, but who does not wish to forgo their clinical knowledge or patient contact, to do just that.  It would also suit candidates currently working as Nurse Advisors to join a progressive organisation which offers a wide range of future career opportunities and ongoing career development.

You will be rewarded with an excellent package including generous basic salary, fully expensed company car, tax-free daily allowance, private pension & healthcare etc.  Due to the nature of the role, all applicants MUST be RGN qualified with current PIN & NMC registration, hold a full UK driving licence (with 6 points or fewer), be eligible to work in the UK on a full time permanent basis and live within the geographical area they would be responsible for covering.
