***** EXPERIENCED PRIMARY CARE MEDICAL PHARMACEUTICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVES REQUIRED *****

We are currently recruiting for 2 experienced primary care medical / pharmaceutical sales representatives living and working within the following geographical areas in anticipation of our client's next initial training programme:

SR 2332           Hampshire & Isle of Wight

SR 2357           Buckinghamshire, Berkshire & Oxfordshire

 

Promoting two prescription only products within particularly key therapy areas (cardiovascular and diabetes) and working as part of a territory team of 4 Representatives, you will focus on raising awareness of your product range within primary care, focusing on GPs, Practice Managers and Retail Pharmacists in your target area.  Due to the nature of your role it will also be necessary to work closely with internal NHS Liaison and Hospital team colleagues in order to gain an in depth understanding of local issues, prescribing habits of Key Opinion Leaders and current NHS priorities. 

Because of the strength of the company's brand name and the market leading status of the products you will be responsible for (in addition to the fact that you will also be supported by 2 Representatives who deal purely with influencing at Practise Nurse & Nurse Practitioner level), as a territory team you will be able to provide a complete service to customers at all levels of the prescribing chain which should facilitate your ability to gain access to traditionally hard to see' practices your competitors may otherwise find difficult to crack.

On this occasion our client will only consider candidates meeting the following criteria:

 

• Currently working as (or have recently worked as) a pharmaceutical sales representative at primary care level on the territory in question
• Live within the geographical area of the post you are applying for
• Preferably already ABPI qualified
• Be eligible to work in the UK on a full time, permanent basis (no working holiday or student visas, please)
• Hold a full UK driving license with 6 points or fewer (with no previous driving bans).

In return, you will be rewarded with a highly competitive basic salary paid commensurate with experience (up to £36,000), company car, pension, private healthcare, daily allowance plus laptop and mobile telephone.  Additionally, comprehensive initial training plus on going personal development with this progressive organisation will be provided.
