Are you a trainee looking for your first job in the pharmaceutical industry or a more experienced rep seeking a new opportunity?  Our client is a global, market leading organisation with a vacancy available on the Glasgow, Clyde, Forth Valley & Argyll territory (job reference SR 1528).

 

Promoting a varied range of prescription only pharmaceutical products, wound care lines & consumer health brands on behalf of some of the worlds market leading companies, you will work as part of an established team calling on customers within primary care including GPs, retail pharmacists & District Nurses in order to raise awareness of your products and increase market share.

This is the perfect opportunity for either a graduate trainee or a sales person from another industry looking for a change of direction or indeed an experienced pharmaceutical sales rep who has been made redundant and looking to get back to work as quickly as possible (N.B. if you have not worked as a medical sales rep before you must have carried out work shadowing with rep that sells prescription only products within primary care and have a good understanding of the role of the medical sales rep & the challenges they face).

The team in question has been established for a number of years with a large organisation which very much believes in promoting from within and will be able to provide a wealth of career options longer term (such as hospital sales specialist, regional manager or field sales trainer). Dedicated to providing the highest standards of training and development to both entry level candidates & more experienced sales people, you will be consistently mentored and encouraged to ensure success.

 

In return, you will be rewarded with a generous basic salary plus company car, pension, private health care, tax free daily allowance, lap top, company car and of course performance related bonus.  As with all vacancies of this type you must live within the geographical area of the territory specified, be eligible to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving license (with 6 points or less).
