My client is a multimillion pound UK distributor of a wide range of speciality chemicals to a number of industries. A growing force within the market this dynamic employer has experienced year on year growth within their market place and are looking for staff to grow with the business and as such they are offering an exciting opportunity to the right candidate.
Due to a continual period of growth there is currently a need to recruit a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT a preference for experience within the speciality chemicals market.
The Opportunity
You will be selling my client's range of specialist chemicals to end use customers across a wide range of vertical markets.
Telephone representatives will cover the whole of the UK respectively
The role encompasses strong account management and relationship building skills at the same time coupled with a strong desire for new business.
Reporting into the Sales Manager you will be given the autonomy needed in this fast paced and exciting environment where customer demands are ever changing and will be head office based in order to receive any support necessary with a small amount of field based work involved.
The Credentials
You will have sales experience in a business to business arena with evidence of a stable career path in a target driven environment.
You will preferably have a good history working within the speciality chemicals market, however, this is not essential but a working sales history is required.
The ideal candidate will have a real hunger, desire and passion to be working for a market leader.
You will have a good telephone technique, strong relationship building skills and the ability to think on your feet with a flexible approach.
This role will require you to have an energetic and engaging personality and you should be someone who believes in honesty and integrity. The ability to quickly understand technical products and to be able to display good problem solving skills are again attributes that my client will be looking for.
Dynamic individuals are needed who have a hunger to succeed and develop within an ever expanding business.
