This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious and fast-growing digital agency based by London Bridge.The ideal candidate will have experience of working within the digital sector and will be able todraw upon their passion for digital strategy, design and technology to contribute significantly to thegrowth of the company.

This leading digital agency's core aim is to give their clients competitive edge - by applying creative,technology and business insight to create digital products, tools and services (web, mobile andtouch) to inspire and engage their client's customers and staff.


About the role

As the Business Development Manager you will be situated at the very forefront of their expansionplans, working closely with the partners in driving growth and leading the sales line.

Nurturing and managing a pipeline of sales leads that are developed both internally and gatheredthrough your own activity you will have a big impact on the business and will be involved in everyelement of the sales process.  From the initial cold approach through to delivering winningproposals/presentations - you will play an important and instrumental role in selling their agency'score services and products.

You must be a proactive, business development / B2B sales professional with experience and skillsthat match the following:

  • A natural ability to close sales via own generated leads and supplied leads, by phone, email andmeeting.
  • Excellent written communication skills - with experience creating proposals & tenders.
  • Field sales experience with confidence meeting with potential customers.
  • Strong appreciation and experience selling UX design, creative, web/mobile development,online marketing and social media services and products.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a creative, proactive and analytical approach.
  • Ability to network and nurture leads.
  • Highly motivated to meet and exceed targets.
  • Hardworking, competitive and passionate.


This role is ideally suited to New Business Sales / Business Development Manager looking to make areal impact for themselves and the business and be rewarded accordingly. The successful candidatemust ideally come from a digital agency background, possess strong experience in building clientrelationships from cold leads, developing new accounts and have an enviable little black book ofindustry names and contacts.

Essential


  • A proven track record of working in an agency environment helping to deliver new business
  • Demonstrate a high level of digital literacy, possessing expert knowledge of digital strategy,design and basic technology issues.
  • Experience of writing compelling proposals, tenders and contributing to pitches to inspirepotential clients and team members.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills - you must be dynamic and persuasive.
  • Ability to work with people in a mature, collaborative and consultative manner, while able towork independently.
  • A great networker - someone who's keen to represent the company at key events and becomean advocate of the brand.
  • Experience of driving and evolving the agency new business sales process.

  • Experience in winning projects and contracts from £20k up to £200k in value.
