Account Manager - B2B Sales
London EC1
£28,000+ Basic (Up to £45,000 OTE) plus 25 days annual leave, pension, healthcare, and interest free travel loan (after probationary period)
Providing trade communications solutions to some of the worlds largest companies including Coca Cola Enterprises, Procter & Gamble and Nestl?our client helps independent retailers across the UK. Helping retailers to stock the right products and profitably serve local shoppers, their mission is to be the first choice provider of business communication to the independent news, grocery and foodservice markets. They now have a unique opportunity for a talented Account Manager to join their team.
The Account Manager will deliver sales from an existing client base in line with an agreed sales strategy. You will organise your time and business resources, prioritising key accounts, customers and prospects, developing an intimacy of relationship that allows you to fully understand your key accounts needs and deliver solutions to them. You will maintain effective communications with your full client base and will also target new businesses to develop sales.
To succeed within the role, the Account Manager will be proactive, tenacious and target driven, and will have previous B2B account management experience, with a results-focused record of hitting targets. In addition, you will hold the following key skills and attributes:
- Solid commercial grounding, with a track record of key account management
- Strong communicator with ability to network effectively
- Passionate about sales and with a genuine desire to win
