Technical Sales Engineer - Metal Casting / Jewellery Manufacturing
Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire
Circa £25,000 DOE Plus Bonuses

Our client is the worlds largest manufacturer of investment powders for jewellery casting. Operating at the forefront of their industry, they have manufacturing bases in UK, India, Thailand, China and South America. An opportunity has now arisen for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team.

This role would suit someone with experience in metal casting looking to develop their skills and expertise in a technical sales function.

As a Technical Sales Engineer you will be responsible for promoting the companys range of investment powders and ancillary products/machinery to both new and existing distributors and jewellery factories worldwide. This will involve identifying new distributors, maintaining sales contracts and assisting with technical trials.

A key part of the role will also be to support customers and distributors by helping to solve their jewellery manufacturing problems. Some overseas travel within Europe will be required.

To be considered for this position, you must have solid experience in metal casting. This could be from experience working on a production line or as a technical engineer.

As the Technical Sales Engineer you should also have the ability to develop relationships with customers and a flair for sales. Above all, our client is looking for a practical hands-on person who understands metal casting. Full training in the use of plaster and refractories will be provided.

Experience in jewellery manufacturing would be beneficial to your application, as would fluency in an additional European language, such as Italian, German or French.

Candidates must live within a commutable distance of Stoke on Trent, or be willing to relocate.
