Field Sales Engineer - ATEX Products/Hazardous Area Equipment
Congleton, Cheshire (To cover the UK)
£25,000 - £40,000 DOE Plus Company Vehicle, Travel Expenses

Are you a technical sales professional with a sound knowledge of ATEX directives? Looking to work for an industry leader? If so, this could be the role for you.

Our client is a leading global supplier and manufacturer of intrinsically safe and explosion proof equipment. They serve customers that work in potentially explosive environments especially in the chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, oil and gas industries. A unique opportunity has now arisen for a Field Sales Engineer to join their team.

This is the ideal position for a technical sales professional to develop their career with a company that is rapidly expanding in facilitating the use of innovative technology in hazardous areas.

Joining a vibrant sales team, as a Field Sales Engineer you will be responsible for selling the companys complete range of products, engineered solutions and wireless networks, across a broad spectrum of industries throughout the UK.

Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be expected to plan and manage the UK business portfolio on behalf of the company, developing new areas of business and enhancing and maintaining existing accounts.

The position is primarily field based with a proportion of time spent in the office working with the internal sales support team and engineering department, as well as liaising with the marketing department to complement and develop strategic sales campaigns.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- technical business to business (B2B) sales experience
- knowledge of ATEX directives, hazardous area equipment and intrinsic safety
- a consistent employment history

Any experience in wireless networking would be beneficial.

Candidates must be prepared to travel to the companys office in Congleton once a week.
