As a market leading manufacturer, our client specialises in party goods that are sold throughout Europe. They are now looking to recruit a proven sales professional to join their team as a Field Sales Executive / Business Development Executive.
For this role our client is looking to recruit a proactive candidate with a proven sales background. Sales representatives, telesales professionals and retail managers, are all encouraged to apply.
Selling to independent retailers, as a Field Sales Executive / Business Development Executive you will be responsible for generating new business through your own efforts and through leads supplied, as well as managing a portfolio of existing customers. Product knowledge is not essential, as full training will be given.
Specifically, your role will involve selling the company's party good products, including balloons, to businesses in the following areas: East and West Midlands, Cheshire, Wales, Northampton, Oxford, Basingstoke, Bristol, Reading and Taunton.
To be considered for this position, you must have proven business to business (B2B) sales experience. This experience can be from a role such as sales executive, sales rep, telesales or similar. Retail managers and candidates with experience of selling into the retail sector are also invited to apply.
As a Field Sales Executive / Business Development Executive, you should have a friendly, outgoing personality, a professional outlook and excellent organisational skills. You must also be educated to A Level standard (or equivalent).
You must have a full current driving license and be prepared to work away from home during the week and on occasional weekends. Field sales experience would be beneficial to your application.
