Our client is an international manufacturing and sales organisation, operating in a highly specialised area of the building services industry, supplying high-end, high-value capital equipment into a wide range of clients across a variety of sectors.
With an enviable reputation amongst its peers, the business is widely recognised and respected as the leader in its field and is now looking to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Sales Director to provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales function.
Management experience is essential, as is the ability to sell in a consultative manner with the credibility to hold high-level discussions and negotiations regarding product specification and configuration. Relevant candidates are likely to be electrical or electronic engineers with a proven track record of success within large, high-value capital equipment sales and will possess a blend of sales acumen, technical ability, market awareness and ambition.
As a member of the senior management team, the Sales Director will play an integral role in setting and delivering the strategy for the UK business, at the same time as identifying and capitalising on business winning opportunities and developing the talent pool within an already successful sales team.
