Job Description

SALES EXECUTIVE / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT / IT SALES - COVENTRY

We need an ambitious and motivated New Business Sales Executive to join an expanding IT organisation that has a strong product offering and is currently experiencing a high level of growth despite the recession.

Working with Digital, AV and IT products our client, having been around since 1984, are firmly established in their sector. Focussing on core expertise that centre around touch screen kiosks and digital signage systems our client has built an enviable client list that includes: Astra Zeneca, Sainsbury's, Laura Ashley and many other leading names.

Due to this expansion they are now seeking to recruit a New Business Sales Executive to work at building new partnerships and increase their overall share in the market. In more detail your role will include the following:

  • Effective management of your own workload and diary ensuring sales leads are optimised and chased.
  • Working with warm leads generated through various online marketing methods.
  • Targeting the B2B sector raising awareness for our client's AV and IT Solutions.
  • Achieving profit targets and business development objectives.
  • Maintaining and updating the client CRM database.
  • Staying in touch with the latest AV/IT trends, demonstrating a keen interest in AV, IT and technology.

In return we need someone that is passionate about the IT industry that is enthusiastic and capable of presenting well over the telephone and face to face. Demonstrating confidence, drive and tenacity you should ideally possess previous B2B sales experience (preferably in IT or AV sales) and a UK driving licence.

Ultimately we are looking for drive, enthusiasm, and that all important entrepreneurial spirit! If you are looking for a sales role that offers on the job training, career progression, a realistic £25k year one OTE and an ambitious working environment then we want to hear from you!

* Working with clients across the UK some travel may be expected when closing larger accounts.
