IT Sales / Business Development Manager - Leading Technology Provider
Leatherhead, Surrey
£30,000 PA starting base salary (£90,000 OTE Uncapped) + Benefits

Due to continued growth we have an opening for a skilled IT Sales/Business Development Manager, a proven sales professional with a strong IT background, including an understanding of networking and server technologies.

This is the ideal role for a sales professional with a hunter mentality, a background in the solutions sales IT sector and a desire to develop their career and earning potential.

As an IT Sales / Business Development Manager you should be an excellent communicator with proven prospecting and new business skills. You have the responsible for targeting a number of organisations across the UK, selling our portfolio of service offerings and therefore you will have an understanding and the ability to articulate the benefits of current and future network technologies.

Working within the sales team your duties will include:

- contacting prospects from a company database
- performing campaign follow-up activities to support marketing activities
- using your own research to develop your own target and prospect lists
- promoting our company and building trust and rapport with potential customers on meetings either provided or self-generated.
- forecast and close business to meet monthly and quarterly targets

To be considered for this position, you must have:

- proven sales experience
- a background in the IT sector
- an understanding of networking and server technologies
- a consultative sales approach
