Director Sales Operations - Mobile Sales

£120,000 - £130,000 + bonus + benefits

We are a mobile Network Operator with operations in 20 Countries around the world, keeping over 13 million UK customers in touch.

We have created a new directorate which encompasses both traditional routes to market and all product sets. The role reports to the VP Sales & Loyalty and will assume sole responsibility for all Sales Operations, covering Pre-Pay, Pay-as-you-go, Broadband, Business, Acquisition, Retention and Upgrade - both inbound and outbound. You will have budget responsibility over systems and processes governing some 80% of overall revenues. Your remit is to control, challenge and support all sales and retentions activities/departments.

Key to this role will be the transition from a traditionally customer service focused operation to a commercial, sales and margin driven environment. Hard decisions will be made by the successful candidate, who will be able to demonstrate clear commercial and strategic thinking along with highly developed man management skills.

The role is wide ranging, covering: Business development & planning; Sales activity management; Sales Reporting and Remunerations; Delivery of operational sales support services including Field sales forces; Retail help-desk; Bid and Presales teams; System and Process analysis & Definition and Management of our Sales academy.

This is a high profile and pivotal role - you would be joining us at a crucial point in our dynamic transition with the opportunity to make a hugely positive impact on our operations.

The ideal candidate will have deep rooted and demonstrable experience in driving commercial delivery and cultural change, possibly from a Consultancy background, running a total team in excess of 1000 individuals.
