Job Description

Account Director (IT solution sales account management and development role).  The account management / Solution Builder role, is responsible for managing clients and defining business need for our clients products with existing clients.  Basic salary £45k with car allowance, occasional international travel, but based ideally around Reading, Bracknell, Basingstoke, Swindon, Newbury.

  

• Works with Sales Co-ordinator on client account plan with the aim of creating SMART actions for client facing team, including the Solution Builder
• Responsible for completing the actions defined as needing to be done by the account's Solution Builder
• Finding out client need
• o If need is not already established by the client, then using the Need Creator to establish the need
• Working with the client and the Process Definition team to establish the best methodological approach to the solution which the client needs
• Creating a proposal or quote for the client for the solution
• Following through to get go ahead on proposal or quote
• Setting up the project from a business point of view so that the Process definition team can create the tasks for the Operations team
• Updating the client regularly on the solution progress
• Delivering the solution to the client, bearing in mind further account plan actions

  

Salary around 45k, full time, some travel international may be required 2 or 3 times per annum.  You will need to be accessible to the Thames Valley so ideally living in Reading, Bracknell, Basingstoke, Swindon or Newbury.  There is no real bonus structure but a car allowance is provided together with free membership of a local leisure centre. BUPA after 12 months service.
