Our client is one of the UK's largest telecommunications providers and due continued success they are looking to recruit a Head of Consumer Marketing to help establish the brand awareness and dedication to its customers. This role is at the heart of the Consumer thinking and is key to ensuring the business has a clear future view of the Consumer and communications market generally, and robust planning in place to ensure the business is best positioned to take advantage of this future. Key responsibilities of this role include providing strategic advice, support and challenge to the Consumer team, delivering the yearly marketing plan for Consumer and lead on the budgeting process. This includes leading on preparing and writing the Consumer strategy annually, supporting with underpinned financials and leading, inputting to, and supporting additional strategic projects including group activities that are Consumer-focused. The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker and have successful track record of designing and developing key strategic marketing projects and plans, the ability to work within and across virtual strategic teams in UK and Group as well as across Marketing and Consumer, must have huge focus on customer insight and market dynamics, competitor and environmental effects and will be able to point to activities where they have successfully played a major role in a strategy at a directorate or company level.
