The BDM will be responsible for generating new business and managing accounts of some existent clients within Europe. This role will involve frequent travel within Europe.
Responsibilities
·Identify, qualify and develop prospects within target sectors
·Develop and support new business strategy
·Develop in depth knowledge of customers business, localization strategy and goals.
·Identify all key decision makers, contributors and influencers.
·Maintain activity, contact, opportunity and account details in company CRM system.
·Develop business in existing accounts.
·Gather market intelligence on company and customer competitors
·Establish and reinforce relationships with existing customers.
·Build confidence and trust on behalf of company.
·Develop and actively manage account plans.
·Pro-actively support customers in services planning development.
·Act as point of escalation for all customer issues.
·Work closely with operations to ensure client needs are being met on an ongoing basis.
·Maintain regular phone, email and face to face contact with all customers.
·Meet revenue targets.
·Meet gross margin targets.
·Achieve related development goals and agreed objectives.
·Continuously improve knowledge of company services, localization industry and customer industries.
·Support global marketing efforts through multiple communication channels.
·Write proposals, develop quotations, respond to tender, RFI and RPF's
·Review offers with clients and follow-up commercial aspects of orders.
·Review business plan and completed projects on a quarterly basis.
·Prepare reporting to the VP Business Development, Europe.
·Organize and participate in marketing events.
·Participate in and support the company business strategy and strategy development.
Requirements
·University degree or equivalent by experience
·At least 3 years experience in a sales, sales support or business development role for outsource, consulting or localization services
·Proven track record in growing business.
·Excellent communicator who can easily build strong relationships at management and operational level.
·Good knowledge of the ICT market is an asset
·Able to manage a portfolio in a long-term perspective.
·Fluent in English required. Other European languages are an advantage.
·Knowledge of the translation and localization industry, it's roles and strategies a distinct advantage.
·Driven individual with an entrepreneurial approach and ability to work independently
·Ability to work effectively in an international environment
·Excellent work ethics, work habits, and ability to maintain confidential and proprietary information
