Job Description

JOB TITLE: Account Representative
TEAM: Regional Business
LOCATION: Wallingford, UK
REPORTS TO: Managing Director, UK

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the Account Representative is to manage software maintenance sales within the EAME market, and to provide sales and marketing support to the UK Business Team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

70% - Regional Product Maintenance:
Generate and fulfill all software maintenance sales for the EAME region, liaising with UK Account Executives as required.
Provide monthly and quarterly updates on the status of maintenance sales to the Managing Director.

30% - Business and Marketing Support:
Identify, qualify and act as first contact to potential new clients within the EAME market, ensuring that all identified leads are passed on to the appropriate Account Executives and followed up in a timely manner.
Ensure that complete and accurate information is entered into our CRM regarding all client inquiries, proposals and maintenance.
Extract relevant information from our CRM and other sources as required to assist in business analytics and planning activities.
Liaise with the Corporate Marketing team as the primary resource in the UK for all tradeshow related activities in the EAME region, including:
o Co-ordinate tradeshows, events and other marketing functions, including collecting data and completing checklists.
o Execute various sales promotion activities, including direct marketing, email campaigns, telemarketing and advertising.
o Manage the ordering, production and distribution of Geosoft and partner marketing materials to support product marketing initiatives.
Continually increase knowledge of Geosoft and partner products and industry trends.
Read and retain details regarding Geosoft policies and procedures.

OTHER JOB INFORMATION:

This position requires a strong internal and external customer service orientation and the ability to manage ever-changing technology and end user needs. This position may require travel to customer and non-customer sites within the EAME region (up to 20%).

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Work Experience:
Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience, is required.
Experience in a pre-sales or marketing role an asset.
Experience working within a global organization an asset.
Event management experience an asset.

Knowledge and Technical Skills:
Advanced skills in MS Office applications required.
Experience with (web address removed) and/or Sharepoint an asset.
Experience with Geosoft or partner products an asset.

Professional Competencies:
Highly developed customer service orientation with the ability to establish effective working relationships and collaborative work approaches with internal and external contacts.
Professional and proactive attitude with proven commitment to process improvement.
Keen organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting demands effectively under tight time constraints.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. French language skills an asset.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
