Core Contact is a new contact centre, which aims to deliver value for its clients by being at the heart of customer relationships.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a sales professional with an excellent track record of delivering new business to be part of Core from its inception. You will be responsible for using Core’s unique model of delivering value to client companies through outbound telemarketing and inbound customer service, predominantly in the consumer market, to deliver new customers to the business.

The added benefit of being able to draw on several years of contact centre experience that Core’s parent company possesses will support you in your role.

Responsibilities
• Deliver revenue for both outbound and inbound business by prospecting, presenting and closing new business contracts
• Manage the sales process from beginning to end
• Achieve sales targets based on company growth forecasts
• Develop relationships with new customers to establish ongoing revenue streams for the business
• Create and manage a system to record prospect and current client projects so as to support the delivery of sales targets
• Provide input into the marketing plan to support sales targets
• Attend trade shows to develop new sales leads
• Maintain and develop a knowledge of the contact centre industry

Individual Requirements
• Proven record of sales success in the business to business market
• Excellent presentation skills
• Persuasive, authoritative and an excellent client communicator
• Capable of working both alone and in conjunction with the new business team as required
• Experience of handling marketing-related data to promote sales success
• Able to deliver sales targets to deadline and budget
• Flexible and committed to developing Core Contact as a new business
• Ability to influence key decision makers representing national brands
• Prepared to travel regularly to meet with prospects and existing clients

Salary scale
§ Initially a 12-month contract, with a view to a long term role should the new business be successful. Salary of £20k basic plus commission OTE £35k + company car.
