Our client is a market leading telecommunications company, long established with a multi-million pound turnover. Due to continued growth within the Telecoms channel, there is now a requirement for a NEW Channel Manager / Dealer Manager / Business Manager with solid Telecoms Channel experience. You will be working in partnership with major manufacturers and leading telecommunications brands to support existing telecoms resellers and to recruit new resellers in order to grow sales. The ideal candidate will come from a commercial background with strong experience of selling/supporting Telecommunications products, services and solutions like business phone systems, Hosted Telephony, SIP, Network Services etc. This experience must have been achieved whilst working in a Telecoms Channel/Dealer management role. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major player in a keyChannel role. For this position, the ideal living location is in the Lancashire, Cheshire or West Yorkshire area.
Channel Manager / Channel Business Development Manager Telecommunications Solutions - Hosted Telephony
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE To manage a specific Telecommiunications and Hosted Telephony Channel development business unit, offering sales development and support, pre-sales consultancy and design, technical support, sales/technical training, marketing and financial services to Telecoms and IT resellers alike.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
"Manage the relevant business unit including all internal and external resources "Manage, maintain and develop the vendor relationship within the company. "Manage and develop all business and sales functions relevant to the business unit "Increase sales of vendor products and services through all existing dealers/resellers. "Maintain channel development through new reseller identification & acquisition. "Maintain the development of account plans for all managed accounts. "Stimulate market growth for vendor proposition "Develop business growth through pro-active marketing and sales initiatives. "Achieve all agreed revenue/profit and activity targets "Report on performance and account activity. "Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and services (training given). "Organise and assist with customer demonstrations/presentations and training. "Use all relevant company processes to ensure the effective management and development of staff. "Any other duties as necessary for the role.

QUALIFICATIONS / RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Essential "Minimum 2 years experience of Telecoms Channel Management. "A successful record in Channel sales and development. "Experience of telecoms or Hosted Telephony or SIP, converged systems and IP technology.
