Providing secure destruction services of confidential data held on IT equipment, our client works with private and public sector organisations for which information security is a primary concern. As a government approved supplier, they are now looking to expand their business both online and with public bodies, and as such, have an opportunity for a New Business Sales Executive / Account Manager to join their team.
Playing a central part in business expansion, as a New Business Sales Executive / Account Manager your role will involve initiating new business from target sectors and eventually maintaining and developing relationships with account customers.
This position will involve handling sales enquiries, educating prospects about the importance of data destruction and surveying prospects' sites, conducting needs analysis of their requirements. You will also be responsible for working with the sales team to manage your sales pipeline and provide quotations. As the role progresses, there may be scope to develop into an account management position which may involve some travel.
Essential to your success as a New Business Sales Executive / Account Manager will be your proven business to business (B2B) sales experience. In addition to your successful sales record, you will also need advanced computer skills in MS Office and CRM solutions.
