A fantastic opportunity to join this multinational player in the digital mapping sector as a Major Account Manager!

Tele Atlas are the world leading providers of digital map data and dynamic content. This data is used by many of the leading personal navigation manufactures worldwide. Due to rapid growth, Tele Atlas are expanding the sales team and are now looking for experienced account managers.

In this role you will be responsible for developing, promoting and implementing strategy for data (CDs/DVDs) and new media (SD cards & downloads when applicable) products into 3 channels in the UK and Northern Europe. These channels are:

  • Automotive
  • Mobile/Telecommunications
  • OEM/partnership agreements.

Successful candidates will be responsible for managing significant multi million pound revenue streams of both existing and new accounts. These roles will focus on Northern Europe, there may also be international travel involved in this role.

We are looking for candidates who can display a successful track record of developing relationships at a senior level from (most likely) a consumer electronic/consumer durable background. You will come from one of the following backgrounds:

  • Partner/OEM sales. Partner/OEM sales. You will most likely be working for a technology vendor where you are responsible for formalising OEM or licensing models with consumer electronic manufacturers or independent Software vendors
  • Telecom/mobile. You are likely to be working for a mobile handset manufacturers, mobile accessory manufacturer or other accessories that are sold into mobile retail or distribution networks.
  • Automotive accessories.You are likely to be working for a solution/products that are sold into the automotive dealer or retail base.

To be considered you must also be within commuting distance to West London and posses the credibility, motivation and market understanding to make a significant impact to their business, in the UK and with partners across Northern Europe.
