External Sales Account Manager - IT Training

£25-35k basic, £45-65k OTE, £4800 car allowance.

We are one of the UK's leading and most prestigious IT training companies, number one for certified training for the likes of Microsoft, Cisco and Citrix with over 50% year on year growth for the past three years. With this unrivalled success, our client is looking to further expand its Sales team with graduate calibre sales people who are looking to work for a success driven and forward thinking company.

You will be part of a successful business unit within the Public Sector team with your primary focus being with the Ministry of Defence (MoD). The company enjoys an extensive and successful relationship with all sectors of the MoD. Your role will be to maintain and develop these relationships by building on the work previously done, and by exposing new business opportunities.

Profile of the successful applicant will be a strong New Business/Account Management background, proven proactive sales experience, strong understanding of sales processes, strong communication skills, verbal and written, the ability to work in a small team and a self motivated/self starter ideally with experience selling to the public sector.

Key responsibilities are as follows: management and growth of existing client portfolio, development and delivery of strategic account plans, identify/develop and deliver business opportunities.
