What Does A Business Development Director Do?


To develop and lead implementation of strategies which shape future business delivery and provide the best possible service
To lead and inspire the sales team
Lead new business pitches and manage accounts during the bedding in period.
Involved in the development of a strategic plan.
Develop and manage annual business plans identifying key activities, priorities and risks.
Business Analyst offering Digital Strategy through consultation to clients
Manage the delivery of a revised client service and consultation strategy

Staff management experience is essential
Having worked primarily in creative agencies, you will have a demonstrable track record of formulating and implementing business development campaigns.
You will be comfortable with all business development methods including PR, DM and proactive calls.
Experience of working in a fast paced mission critical environment is also essential
With strong academic and business credentials, you will already have gained substantial experience within a service organisation, leading management consultancy or systems integrator, of managing the profitable delivery of services to high profile and demanding clients whilst also identifying and developing new additional business opportunities
