Northern Account Manager - Networking Hardware Sales
£35k Basic, £50k OTE

PMA has developed a partnership with an industry recognised Global manufacturer of leading edge Network technology & equipment as well as high-quality products for wiring and communications. They are a world-class developer and provider of innovative electrical and networking solutions and services.
Established in the 1950s, my client has engineered and manufactured leading-edge solutions and products, which has seen them become the industry leader with sales over $670 million, 4000 employees and 12 manufacturing plants.
My client holds strong partnerships with industry leading organizations, Cisco, IBM and HP to expand their solution for their customers. Of which the majority are found in the fortune 500.
We currently have opportunities for a Northern Account Manager who has the desire and tenacity to succeed in a demanding business to business environment. The candidate must be determined, career and money hungry, organised, intelligent and able to articulate themselves at any level. Working in a dynamic team, the Account Manager will be able to perform with sincerity towards colleagues and should value a good team ethic.
The ideal candidate will have a background in cabling sales or a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar vertical. Around 75% of your time will be travelling the district achieving sales through distribution/customers within your territory. You will be responsible for sales, distribution sales, contract and optimizing the distribution sales channel. You will be targeting sales predominately in Fortune 500 or FTSE 100 organisations, OEM and MRO organisations.
In return, the successful applicants will receive a remuneration package of a £35,000 basic with an OTE of £50,000, company car, 25 days holiday, PMI, PHI, pension, life x3, mobile and laptop.
