This company had a turnover of 110million in 2007 and are seeking an applicant that is ideally selling ISP services, managed services, application services or hosted services. Account Manager Managed Application Hosting Sales JOB TITLE: Account Manager. AREA: UK wide. BASED: London. BASIC: Up to £55K. OTE: Circa £110K. BENEFITS: 7% pension and family healthcare. THE ROLE ·If progression and earning potential are at the forefront of your mind then this is the position for you as it offers an Account Manager the chance to sell managed application hosting. ·The managed application hosting that will be sold in this role includes datacentre services of hosting and managing a software application for somebody else. For example, working with software vendors that wish to "software as a service" their products or working with a systems integrator or reseller to enable that company to offer hosted application services as part of a wider solution. ·The Account Manager will sell to ISVs, consultancies, resellers marketing firms. ·This is a 100% services lead new business sales role. ·The responsibilities of this role include recruiting partners to sell through and managing 1 or 2 relationships from the outset. ·The sales cycles that the Account Manager should expect to handle in this role will be between 2 weeks and 2 months, with deal sizes between £20K and £100K, although they can be as large as £300K or £400K. ·Support will be provided from marketing, technical people, service managers and sales support. ·The Account Manager will have a target of around £1million for year 1. THE COMPANY ·Established in 1996, this company had a turnover of 110million in 2007 and have been profitable since 1999. ·They are one of the few organisation of this size to be privately held. ·They have 2,000 employees, ·Currently, they have 12 offices in Europe and are on the acquisition trail. KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ·The successful applicant will have sold indirectly at some point and will have sold complex IT services at enterprise level. ·All applicants need to have tenacity and a new business hunter mentality, without being an aggressive "door kicker", as relationship building will be necessary for this position. ·The ideal candidate will be selling ISP services, managed services, application services or hosted services.
