Sales Engineer (Satellite Solutions): A proven Sales Engineer (Satellite Solutions) is required to join this leading value adding reseller and integrator of satellite communications solutions, based in Farnborough, Hampshire. The Sales Engineer (Satellite Solutions) will be at the forefront of promoting exciting new Satellite Modems and other leading Satellite Communications products to FTSE 100 companies and broadcasters.
The Sales Engineer will join a young growing technical company that is financially strong and headed by highly experienced Satellite industry professionals. Applicants should be comfortable with describing, promoting and demonstrating technical products, ideally within the satellite, broadcast, broadband, or relevant industry sector (knowledge of satellite link broadcast technologies such as MPEG2 and MPEG4, DVB-S2 and/or IP-technology and RF-technology)
The Sales Engineer for Satellite Solutions should be confident in all areas of the sales lifecycle, selling to large (FTSE 100) companies, with an identified need for Satellite services.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven relevant B2B technical solutions based sales experience
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Organized and analytical, able to eliminate technical sales obstacles through creative and adaptive commercial approaches
* Be ready and willing to travel primarily in the UK, with occasional overseas travel
Desirable (not essential):
* Knowledge of satellite link broadcast technologies such as MPEG2 and MPEG4, DVB-S2
* Knowledge of IP-technology and RF-technology
* Electronics / Telecommunications Engineering Degree
* Further computer literacy skills Ms Project, AutoCAD
* Fluency in French and/or Arabic would be ideal
