Business Development Manager IT Consultancy, Software & Managed Services Sales
JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager.
AREA: UK wide.
BASED: Hampshire.
BASIC: £40K - £55K.
OTE: £80K - £110K.
BENEFITS: £7.2K car allowance and fuel card.
THE ROLE
·A unique opportunity has become available to work with this leading company as a Business Development Manager selling IT consultancy, software solutions and managed services.
·These services and solutions will be around transactions and transaction processing in the retail environment, as well as consulting around strategy and process improvements, security and fraud prevention. There will also be an aspect of consultancy around business intelligence.
·This company offers total business and technology solutions.
·The Business Development Manager will be selling to midmarket retail organisations in a new business capacity.
·The sales cycles that should be expected in this position will be between 6 and 12 months.
·Deal sizes that the Business Development Manager will handle will be from £10K for consultancy or managed services, but can be up to £150K.
·Back up will be provided from funding and government legislation, 12 graduates in marketing, sales and delivery, telesales and marketing.

·This is a debt free organisation.
KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
·Experience of selling into retail is necessary for this role.
·This company is looking for a salesperson with a proven track record of new business or account development.
·The ideal candidate will have some understanding of how money moves in a retail environment.
