Job Description

Regional Sales Director : Managed Services - Manchester £150,000 package

Our client is a £50M turnover managed services provider focussed on delivering ICT solutions to UK businesses. The portfolio includes Hosting, Security, Network Solutions, Unified Communications and Cloud Computing.

Role
Primary responsibility for the performance of the Northern Region which has £11Million annual revenues and a staff covering Sales, Solution Architects, Administration and Customer Support. The brief is to continue to grow the business with excellent profit margins whilst developing and strengthening the team.
Responsibilities
* Responsibility for the day to day management and performance of the regional team.
* Development and execution of the Regional business sales and marketing strategy.
* Full P&L responsibility against the Company?s annual agreed budgets.
* Sustain and grow an existing customer base through account management and service account management teams.
* Acquire new clients through direct and indirect channels in line with company goals and targets.

Candidate
* A proven track record of success within the IT/Managed Services or Telecoms arenas
* Proven expertise in developing and managing a sales strategy and associated tactical plans
* 5+ years sales manager/director experience
* Proven track record of motivating and inspiring an existing team as well as recruitment
* Ability to evidence success of working to and exceeding sales targets
* You will have P&L responsibility for your business unit and as such you will be used to working within defined budgets
* A well rounded commercially astute inspirational leader with the ability to translate wider corporate objectives into relevant strategies and action plans for the specific parts of the business
