Business Development Managers (B2B Telecommunications): Field based Business Development Managers are required to cover the East Midlands for a leading first tier Vodafone Platinum Partner B2B Telecommunications company in Derby, that specialises in all areas of mobile communication solutions including; business mobile phone contracts, mobile e-mail & data solutions, landline services, hands free solutions, and managed IT Solutions.
The Business Development Managers will be tenacious and results driven, with proven experience developing and seeking out new business in a targeted environment, ideally in a field based capacity, within the Telecommunications industry.
Responsibilities:
- Sales experience preferably within the Telecoms or other technical industry sector
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities within a specified territory
- Develop strategy around developing a pipeline and closing new business
- Provide weekly reports on sales activity i.e. pipeline and activity
- Exceed monthly/quarterly targets
- Organise and maintain your own diary of appointments to ensure your time is used effectively
- Seek out referrals from potential prospects and existing clients
Person Specification:
- Ability to identify key strategic opportunities to grow the business
- Ability to understand a clients pain points and propose solutions to alleviate these pains
- Ability to understand customers businesses and requirements
- Results Driven
- Highly motivated with a "get up and go" attitude
- Excellent communication/presentation skills
- Experience of presenting to key decision makers
- Proven track record of exceeding targets in previous roles
- Strong commercial acumen
- Good planning, time management and workload prioritisation skills
