Job Description

Account Manager Basic Salary £30k + Uncapped Commission OTE £60K + Benefits including: 25 days paid holiday, private health care, pension and life assurance.

About the role of Senior Account Manager

The role of Senior Account Manager is based in Central London and will be responsible for selling a range of services and solutions to new and existing clients across a number of sectors. You will be responsible for selling the following: consultancy, reports, research / analysis and event sponsorship.

Other day to day responsibilities will include:

·       Developing existing accounts through the cross selling and upselling of new services whilst building and maintaining outstanding client relationships at senior level

·       Developing long term account management plans for revenue growth to ensure high renewal rates

·       Pro actively sourcing new leads and developing / hunting for new business

·       Work towards meeting and exceeding monthly revenue targets

·       Attending sales presentations and events / exhibitions for networking and sales purposes

·       Putting together new and existing client proposals

·       There will be some international travel involved as this role is selling across Europe, Middle East & Africa

Candidate Requirements

·       Successful track record in business development and account management

·       Degree educated

·       Experience of selling Business Information, Technology / IT Solutions, Research / Analysis is preferred

·       Excellent Face to Face presentation and telephone selling skills

·       Excellent organizational, communication and negotiation skills

·       Ideally you must of sold at senior level (C or Director level)

·       European languages are beneficial but not essential
