Our client is a leading provider of sample and assay technologies to the medical, research and biotech communities. With a global workforce spread across 30 countries and a growing portfolio of consumable products and solutions they are well positioned to meet the needs of today's demanding customers. Due to growth, they are now looking for a National Account Sales Executive to cover accounts in North London, the Northern Home Counties and East Anglia.
As a member of a national accounts sales team it would be advantageous to live within the Cambridge area as the majority of your accounts will be in this region. Your main responsibilities will include contributing to the growth and further development of revenue streams from within a predefined list of strategically important key accounts. Working with colleagues, you will map out networks and collaborations within your local market to develop new business and opportunities of varying value.
The ideal candidate will be educated to PHD, BSc or equivalent in a "Bio" lead capacity and posses a minimum of 18-24 months sales experience gained within a similar role/sector. Product training will be made available but it would certainly be advantageous to have knowledge of life sciences market. You will however consider yourself to be a dynamic professional with excellent communication and presentation skills who is seeking to develop a structured sales career on a national scale with an international leader.
The successful candidate can expect an initial base salary of 30k with an uncapped OTE of 40k plus an additional and generous benefits package.
