Business Development Executive Training Software

Our client specialises in producing software for the management and administration of training. Their main clients are training providers and corporate companies with their own training departments. An opportunity has now arisen for an ambitious Business Development Executive to join their team.
This is a newly created role in which you will play a key part in the development, promotion and growth of new and existing products.
As a Business Development Executive you will be responsible for selling our client's market leading training software. This will involve focusing on new business, contacting leads and setting appointments for the field sales team to attend.
Specifically, your role will involve generating new prospects, following up sales enquiries, demonstrating the software over the internet to prospective clients, and arranging webinars.
Your duties will also include:
- helping to develop ideas for new clients
- producing email newsletters on a regular basis to inform clients about the company's products
- carrying out market and competitor research
- assisting in tender preparation
To be considered for this position, you must have business to business (B2B) sales experience, including a track record of generating new business and leads. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a good level of computer literacy.
Additionally, as a Business Development Executive you will need to be highly organised, able to multi-task and self motivated. You should also thrive in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.
Whilst not essential, any of the following would be beneficial to your application: a track record of selling software and/or a training background gained within a large organisation or training company.
