Job Description

 Senior Account Manager role - Working for a well established IT Security Company - Highly competitive salary £35-45k OTE £100k Car allowance plus Pension- Office based in Reading - Selling high margin IT Security solutions - Full Internal support - Mixture of professional services, Hardware, Software Managed Services and Support - Existing business account management

Our client is looking to recruit an Account Manager to join their growing IT Security Company. They have great working relationships with most major key vendors and a wide ranging customer base from medium sized enterprises to blue chip organisations with second to none customer service they have a great reputation within the industry. As an Account Manager you will be able to utilise the internal sales support team while you concentrate on managing a portfolio of existing accounts. You will book and attend meetings, close deals and manage accounts.

Responsibilities - Senior Account Manager

  • Manage circa 30 accounts generating £500k per annum
  • Sell security solutions to customers
  • Dealing with senior IT decision makers
  • Attend and contribute to sales meetings
  • Average sales cycle is 3 months
  • Manage vendor and customer relationships

Skills & Attributes - Senior Account Manager

  • Working knowledge of IT security concepts
  • History of selling IT solutions at Director level
  • Understanding of major vendors
  • Success in managing commercial relationships
  • Ability to articulate solutions and objectives
  • Motivated, disciplined and enthusiastic
