Sales Account Manager IP Networking, Voice, Data & Related Services Sales JOB TITLE: Sales Account Manager. AREA: South UK. BASED: Bedfordshire. BASIC: £30K- £50K. OTE: £60K - £100K. BENEFITS: Car allowance of £450 - £550 per month, BUPA, pension and 25 days holiday (rising to 28). THE ROLE ·If you are looking to be rewarded financially for your success then this is the position for you as it offers a Sales Account Manager the chance to sell IP networking, voice, data and related services. ·This role will involve selling the full portfolio to mid-tier companies in the city, which will include IP networking (carrier services, cabling, LAN, WAN and wireless), security (VPNs, firewalls and intrusion detection), voice and video (including IP telephony and IP video and applications. ·Around 50% to 60% of the sales will be services focused, with 20% to 30% hardware and the remaining 20% maintenance concentrated. ·The Sales Account Manager will have a new business focused role and will be selling to the either the public sector (local government or defence) or mid tier finance organisations, which are defined as companies with at between 500 and 2500 employees. ·The person filling this position will be required to generate his or her own business to compliment leads that are passed from the internal support resource. The management of all accounts that are brought on will be necessary in this position. ·The Sales Account Manager will be engaging clients at all levels and dealing with order values that vary dramatically. THE COMPANY ·Established in 1992, this company was initially focused on voice and data. ·At present, they employ around 40 people. ·They have a focus on the public sector, finance and mid tier organisations such as in retail, services and manufacturing. KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ·The successful applicant will have new business experience, an SI and convergence background and will be a highly money motivated individual. ·In terms of background, this company are ideally seeking a salesperson from a Cisco partner with Sales Essential and ideally Sales Expert certification. ·An applicant with experience of selling converged is sought for this position. ·A proven track record of new business with the ability to generate business, which will involve a certain degree of cold calling and the capability of managing accounts once they have been won, is vital for this role. ·Key attributes associated with this role include being a true team player, strong interpersonal skills, honesty, good business ethics and excellent communication skills ·It is essential that all applicants live within a reasonable commute to the office. ·Knowledge of vertical markets would be highly advantageous, specifically defence, education and local government.
