A unique opportunity has become available to work with this market leading organisation as a Major Account Manager selling data solutions. This company hold stakes in mobile phone operators that serve over 24million customers worldwide. The successful applicant will have sold telecoms or IT, have a new business or account management ability and creation selling skills. Major Account Manager Data Solutions Sales JOB TITLE: Major Account Manager. AREA: UK wide. BASED: Home based. BASIC: £35K. OTE: £35K. BENEFITS: Car allowance, blackberry, mobile, laptop, home office setup, healthcare, pension and holidays. THE ROLE ·A unique opportunity has become available to work with this market leading organisation as a Major Account Manager selling data solutions. ·These solutions will be sold into the manufacturing vertical, which includes construction, heavy engineering and foodstuff. ·The person filling this position will manage a set number of accounts (in the region of about 10 depending on the size of the accounts) with a view to increasing the number of mobile voice and data connections, handsets, data devices and value added services. ·Around 50% of the Account Manager's time will be spent on generating new business opportunities within the accounts through needs creation based selling techniques. ·The remaining 50% of the successful applicant's time will be spent on account management. ·The Account Manager will carry a target that is based on a number of criteria, such as new connections, revenue, net base and customer satisfaction. THE COMPANY ·This company hold stakes in mobile phone operators that serve over 24million customers worldwide. ·This is an independent company in the FTSE 100. ·They provide mobile voice and data services to around 14million customers, accounting for around 60% of this company's revenue. KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ·The successful applicant will have sold telecoms or IT, have a new business or account management ability and creation selling skills. ·The ideal candidate will have a mobile data, fixed line, carrier or systems integration background. ·This company is willing to consider applicants from a broader background, with a strong track record within the telecoms and IT market. ·Experience of selling into the finance and professional services vertical will be beneficial for this role, but is by no means essential. ·All applicants must have experience of a structured sales methodology and experience of successful selling into large corporate companies. ·Key attributes associated with this role will include being trustworthy, of the highest integrity, sharp, articulate, well presented and a good communicator both internally and externally. ·The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to sell at high levels and be comfortable with the corporate ethos and culture. ·Self-determination and motivation is imperative as this is a home based role.
