This company is the market leader in the biometric identity management systems. All applicants must have sold software solutions through Systems Integrator channel partners. Channel Development Manager - IT Software Sales JOB TITLE: Channel Development Manager. AREA: EMEA. BASED: UK. BASIC: £75K - £85K. OTE: £150K - £160K. BENEFITS: Standard corporate benefits. THE ROLE ·If progression and earning potential are at the forefront of your mind then this is an excellent opportunity for you to work as a Channel Development Manager selling biometric identity management system software including finger, face, iris and voice information solutions through channel partners across EMEA. ·End users will be public sector and regulated industries like airports. ·The Channel Development Manager will target end users via channel partner systems integrators such as EDS, Fujitsu services, Accenture and Unisys. ·Most of the partners are already in place but the successful candidate will be tasked with finding more. ·The Channel Development Manager will target on going projects with the end users and use the partners to get the opportunities. ·Order values can be as little as 100K and up to around 5million with sales cycles of 12 months to 5 years. ·The person filling this position will carry a target of around 2million. ·Around 50% of the Channel Development Managers business will be outside the UK and he or she will be expected to travel around 25% of the time. THE COMPANY ·This company is the market leader in the biometric identity management systems. ·They are a US organisation that was established over 10 years ago. ·They are a private company looking to further expand its lead in the market and currently employ 150 members of staff worldwide. ·They truly are the number 1 in this market with a huge percent of the market share. KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ·All applicants must have sold software solutions through Systems Integrator channel partners. ·Candidates can have sold any type of software- infrastructure or business applications. Identity Management and Security software experience is an advantage but not a prerequisite for this role. ·It is essential that all applicants have relationships with SI's, preferably including the ones named above. ·The ideal candidate will have sold to the public sector but this company will consider people that have sold to other verticals as long as the candidate has sold through systems integrators. ·This company is looking for a salesperson that has worked on large and small deals, he or she must have experience of closing deals in excess if 1million.
